Webyog Interview Question 2014

Hi Guys,

I know its been ages since i last updated this blog. Thanks to a reader I finally have sat down to do a new post. I have another first hand account of webyog interview, this time from a reader who sat on  14th Sept 2014. Here is what she commented on the last years post i paste it here as it is.

I have written the webyog test on 14th sept, 2014. There was no question related to aptitude. Questions were as follows:

1. Which feature in C/C++/Java you don't like? Give a suggestion to make it better.

2. What is class? How classes help into improving programing.

There were 8 questions from coding. Each two were from C, Java, Java script and Dot net. You have to attempt any 4 questions.

3. Search and remove a particular node from linked list. (C/C++)

4. If a user enters any number then you have to print the English name of that number.
example : 1 -> one
                   120 -> one hundred twenty
                   8760 -> eight thousand seven hundred sixty

5. What is the best way in java to search and remove duplicates. Give a sample program.

6.Given two arrays : {1,2,3,4,5} and {2,3,0,1,5}
Find the element in second array which is not present in first array in java.

7. ) delete the duplicate words in the following sentence in java script
     this is is very very good

I only could remember these question. There were 10 questions total. Time duration was 60 min. Thanks

 I have decided to do a new post for this so that its more accessible. And Special thanks for my special reader. Read, Learn and Share

Last years questions are still available here Webyog interview questions
Peace.

Last Day of College

Last four years have passed with a lot of patience, tolerance and what not. But all that was worth it as finally I have completed my course and have earned the title of Engineer Sahab. As if it’s something worth bragging about.  To be frank I have not liked a single day of last four years I have spent at the institute. There was nothing that’ll bring sweet memories. Food tasted worse than medicines, weather was a constant reminder of hell, lectures were lullabies and friends I had none. All the stories of freedom and independence showed their true colors.
Anyways, I didn’t want to write this post telling my dukh bhari dastaan to the world. I wanted to do this post to thank and share the heart melting gestures my juniors showed on the last day. I couldn’t tolerate Kolkata anymore so I had decided to leave the day I had my last exam. I had to do everything on that same day. Return the books of the library; get my packing done and everything else as well. I returned to my room as fast as I could after exam and after a little rest started packing up all my belongings. I was alone at the hostel as my peers had left for having their own parties and juniors had exams.
The fun part, what has prompted me to do this post, began after they, juniors, returned from exam. They stayed constantly with me immediately from the time they returned until I boarded my train. They helped me with my packing, carried my entire luggage to the station, and it was pretty heavy, stayed with me at the local- train station even when I had to wait there for over an hour.
Finally they came with me to the station from where I had to get another train again carrying my entire luggage. I had never been subjected to such love and respect. I have always travelled with no one seeing me off or picking me up. I have always been independent.  I hate such independence. These guys almost made me cry. I owe these guys. Ill never be able to repay.
Thanks a lot all of you who made my last day at institute my best day there.

Blah Blah ! Yada Yada!

Yeah I know I know its been long since I have posted anything here. Nothing much going anyways, so what d'you think Ill post about.
The story so far is that I have a job offer already and my exams aren't even over yet. Only a week left though.

Most of the companies don't  seem to be on a recruiting spree this year. They are says its a slowdown this year. Good for them but what about us? Huh? Where do we go. And those which are hiring want to get their work done at dirt cheap packages.

That's all for now folks! Looks like its screwed already.

BTW if you want some more inside info on recruitment process of Wipro BPO, IBM GBS Support Executives etc let me know. I have gone through they recruitment process a couple of times after my last post. I might make a post about that as well. May be next time.

Later.

Pool Campus Placement II

Greetings!
In this post Ill continue from where I left the last post of this Title.

After the Aptitude Test came the round for group discussion. And believe me the group assigned to me was a total mess, You'll know what I mean after reading this post.

Well to begin with I don't exactly remember the number of participants  but we were more than ten. Topic given was "Should government finance elite educational institutions like IITs and IIMs.

Most of the participants were aggressively supporting the idea that it should. Some weren't decided and I, like most of the time, had a completely different idea than all. I opined that the government should not finance elite educational institutions.

As I said the group itself was a mess, every one was shouting at the top of their voices, not letting others speak.  Apart from me. I cant remember any solid argument with which they could come up to prove their case. My most challenging argument was that there are colleges throughout the globe which get no finance from any government and are probably doing much better than the IITs and IIMs.

May be this argument and my manner help me to clear this round too, Alhumdullillah

There were six round all together  in the recruitment drive, and hopefully Ill do a post for each. More to come so keep checking ge33ek.blogspot.com regularly.
See Yah!
